SCL Search has focused primarily on permanent placements since 2015.

We specialize in sourcing talent for supply chain positions at varying levels of seniority, from operations management to C-suite.

Exclusive Partnership

There is a myth that multiple search firms will cover a broader search, and deliver results faster.

But in fact, the opposite is true. If you pit one firm against another, they may race against each other (for a brief while) to send resumes quickly. But you will only get a surface-level search from each firm. They’ll check their database to see who they’ve got, and that’s as far as they’ll go.

Plus, working with multiple recruiters can hurt your brand as an employer.  Multiple recruitment firms will inevitably approach the same candidates for the same role, which dilutes the offering and makes it less appealing.

At SCL Search, we partner exclusively with our clients.  We focus on quality over quantity, and we work hard to build long-term repeat client relationships.

Partnering with one search firm allows us to dedicate resources to research, network and headhunt to uncover the very best candidates for your requirements, rather than just pulling resumes out of a database.

Flexible Pricing

We offer 3 pricing models for permanent placements, depending on the nature of the search:  contingency, engaged and retained.

For more details on pricing and which option is best for your situation, please contact us.

Success Track Record

Because of our specialized focus, our fill rates for permanent placements are much higher than the industry average. We will only take on a search if it fits within our niche and we are confident we can fill the role.

We fill over 70% of our contingency searches, and 100% of our engaged and retained searches. Across the recruitment industry, the average fill rate for contingency firms is only 30%.

Confidentiality

Hiring managers are often faced with the challenge of filling open positions while maintaining confidentiality, particularly when the role is sensitive or high-profile, and the company doesn’t want to tip off competitors or disrupt internal operations.

Over 30% of our searches are confidential in nature. We might be replacing an underperformer, searching for someone to backfill an upcoming retirement, or hiring for a new position that hasn’t been announced within the organization.

We have several methods we employ regularly to maintain the confidentiality of our clients.

/01

We have a database of over 20,000 supply chain professionals, and have access to millions of profiles through online databases. Through direct recruitment (aka headhunting) we are able to fill most of our job openings without ever posting a job ads.

/02

When we do post ads, we do so in a way that protects our client’s anonymity. We craft job postings that are deliberately vague, so that they don’t reveal sensitive information

/03

We require candidates to sign a non-disclosure agreement before discussing details about confidential job opportunities.

/04

Our standard practice is to withhold the name of our client in our initial discussions. We normally don’t disclose the name of our client until after we have determined the candidate is a potential match, and after our candidate signs an NDA.
