My cell, my home and my office are all on Rogers, so like many others across Canada, I had to go to a coffee shop to work yesterday.

It was actually a great experience after the last 2 years of social distancing!

The coffee shop was packed with people just like me, who couldn’t get a signal elsewhere. I shared my table with a stranger, and we chatted with each other as we each did our own thing. Looking around the restaurant, I saw that nearly every table was shared, and little conversations about the Rogers outage or about the pandemic kept a buzz in the air.

It’s amazing how much we rely on the internet. When it was down yesterday it gave me a new appreciation for things I normally take for granted.

How was your day?
