Yesterday afternoon we took time off from our busy schedules to cook meals for staff and families at the “Darling Home for Kids” in Milton.  What an experience!  The Darling Home for Kids provides high quality respite and palliative care services for children who are medically fragile and technology dependent, many of whom suffer from progressive illness.  We prepared A LOT of food, and realized that Rameez and Tom really can cook something other than just KD!  We made Mac N Cheeseburger Casserole and Shepard’s Pie, and Tatiana prepared crepes as a delicious treat for the front-line staff.  Serving others helped us appreciate what we’ve got.  It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun, too!
